Escape Is Good

Yes, escape is certainly good, even if it’s just a quick getaway someplace nearby. Last weekend, our chosen destination was the Holiday Inn at Batu Ferringhi as it had a good offer (for local holiday-makers).

Anyway, it was great catching up on some rest and relaxation, especially for Kim who’ve been having a very hectic couple of weeks at work. We treated ourselves to a massage, lepak’d around and hopped on over next door for the ever popular Parkroyal Seafood Buffet dinner (I couldn’t say no to their free flow of lobsters!). We spent the rest of next day, after checking out, just chillin’ by the beach at Sunset Bistro… watching the world go by and planning our next vacation.
