Half-Boiled Eggs & Toasted Bread

Feeling peckish after gym the other day, Kim and I went to one of my favourite coffeeshops at Tanjung Tokong flats. Now, when asked what is my favourite food, the first thing that usually comes to mind is half-boiled eggs with toasted bread and kopi-o! I used to have this for breakfast before going to school in the good ol’ days. Kim loves it too and this little coffeeshop serves just about the best eggs and toast you can get in Penang.

The specialty here is the delicious home-made kaya which goes onto the their buttered toasts. They even sell the kaya in little tubs for you to enjoy at home! If you’ve never been here before, just turn right at the Tanjung Tokong flats traffic lights (round the corner coming from town) and then right again into the flats’ compound. It’s there on the ground floor.
