The TUKAANI

Check out this western twist to an ancient Asian utensil. The TUKAANI looks and functions just like a pair of chopsticks and tongs rolled into one. Created by Finnish designer Lincoln Kayiwa, this simple ‘eating device’ (as its called by the designer) will have even the most mat salleh of users picking up sushi and sashimi like experts in no time.

The curl at the end of the TUKAANI provides eased food picking and delivery to the mouth, while the loop on the other end allows for easy hanging, storage and display. Brilliant!

So, will my fellow Malaysians laugh at me if I used it here? Nevermind-la, I am after all a banana (yellow outside, white inside) anyway! :P
