The food here… IS GOOD! Yes, if you are in Ipoh and wanting some yummy Asian Food Channel-style western fare, then make your way over to Citrus.
Kim introduced me to the place last weekend and I was quite impressed with the service and especially the food - delicious and well presented. Apparently, the (award-winning) chef at Citrus was formerly from the Four Seasons Hotel, Singapore.
Anyway, we took a serving of the set lunch which had Cream of Carrot Soup, Pasta in Cream Sauce with Salmon and Hot Chocolate Brownie dessert. We also ordered their Golden Fried Brie Cheese with Chutney, Chicken Pesto Fondue and a Strawberry Panna Cotta. Everything was absolutely delicious; I personally liked the soup and brie cheese best - top notch, yummy!
