Microsoft has made another bid to buy Yahoo! and this time, they may succeed. In any ways, should the merger go through, it would be interesting to see which path forward Microsoft takes with their acquisition.

Arguably, Yahoo! is the stronger brand of the two when it comes to online presence. Hopefully, Microsoft will put their efforts into building and improving on the Yahoo! brand instead of possibly just consuming it up to boost their own proprietary interests. What would I like to see come out of this?

•   A wake-up call for Google.
•   A reduction in redundant online services.
•   Something fresh and new that’s characteristic of both brands.
